Yet more than half a century on, these rights are violated daily on a massive scale. Thousands of children are out of primary school, many in rural India die every day from easily preventable conditions. In an era of unprecedented prosperity, this is a moral scandal: the knowledge and means exist to realise the right to basic education and health care for every citizen of India. The immediate and urgent challenge is to marshal our resources in support of their rights. It is our social responsibility to create awareness among the people and serve them. |

There are several systemic issues afflicting rural India. The truth is that the agrarian crisis and the debt burden in rural India have as much to do with
the failure of state in providing quality public services such as education and healthcare.
Our focus is on two very such elements
- Education
- Health
There is no dearth of Intellectual Capital in rural India - and it is a painful conculsion of how such a gifted nation can suffer due to the apathy of its brilliant children to sheer ignorance ! specially those from the vulnerable sections, will be entitled to earn their living, to have quality education, the right to access good healthcare, to obtain basic needs and indeed will be entitled to and actually have the freedom to live in dignity, instead of being forced to accept what is being doled out by the system.
